FAQ
What do you charge?
I charge £165 per day, covering an eight hour shift during the week. Weekend work negotiable as well. If you'd rather commission per article, send me your rates across and I can take a look. Generally, a day rate will be better value, with multiple articles able to be written on a single shift. Available for SEO consultations also. Send me a message across to work out rates based on your website's audience size, and how much time you'd like for me to take a look at your SEO process, and general coverage approach to gaming content.
Where are you based?
I'm based in Brighton, UK, on the rather overcast shores of the south coast. I regularly commute to London for work opportunities also, and have previously managed shifts under Pacific, Eastern, and Central Time in the US. Each year, Brighton hosts two major events that I regularly attend. Develop Brighton and BrightonSEO are both great opportunities to catch me in person, so if you'd like to go for a coffee and discuss how I could help you and your brand reach more people, or if you'd just like a dependable pair of hands to cover a shift, do let me know via the contact form.
What is your process?
My process involves staying up to date with the biggest and best games releases throughout the year. I work regularly with sites like TechRadar, helping them update their evergreen content to best match the ever-changing needs of Google. I have plenty of experience covering games before launch as well, and have built up a decent list of contacts in the industry over the years to help me obtain early game codes, interviews and embargoed news.
